Cala Ratjada

Cala Ratjada is a fishermen and tourist village located in the northeast of Majorca about 65 km from the city of Palma. I like this place because I can enjoy its wonderful sea views and its clear and crystal waters. The best time to go is in summer because it’s when there are a lot of fun, fairs and festivals and the restaurants and bars are open. During the winter season,  most of restaurants and shops are closed.

I also like Cala Ratjada’s hotels because you can find there a lively atmosphere, with funny games and you can enjoy the swimming pool as much as swimming in the sea. Also if you don’t want to be at the hotel all the time, you can go horse-riding on the beach or go cycling and enjoy the sea views.

In the evenings you can go for along walk and after that you can have a drink or a cocktail in any bar. On Saturday mornings there is a small market of handicrafts where you can buy a lot of things.
